Treatment Scheme The raw water supplied passes through the following treatment units to produce High Purity Water. CHLORINE DOSING : To kill the bacteria and oxides the organic matter. RAW WATER PUMP : To boost the feed water to feed in Multi Grade Filter at 3 kg/cm2 pressure. The pump offered is SS Horizontal Centrifugal Pump coupled with Electric Drive Motor on a common base plate. MULTI GRADE FILTER (MGF) : For filtration of raw water. Raw Water is passed through a Filter (MGF) in order to remove suspended matters & turbidity. The Pressure Vessels is constructed from Special steel internally rubber-lined. Internally unit is fitted with. top distributor and bottom collecting system and charged with mixed grade silica quartz sand which is supported on different grades of under bed material. ANTI SCALANT DOSING SYSTEM : The feed water contains high silica level and Total Hardness. This Antiscalant Dosing System will take care of the Silica in the Raw Water along with Calcium and Magnesium Hardness. It will prevent the Silica and hardness scale formation on the membrane surface. There by saving the pre-mature failure of the membrane. 5MBS DOSING : It is dosed to chlorinate the water completely before it feds to RO membranes - thereby saves membranes from premature failure. MICRON CARTRIDGE FILTER : A Micron Cartridge Filtration (MCF) system is provided for removing suspended particles up to 5 micron rating, to achieve required SOL Unit. HIGH PRESSURE PUMP : A multi stage centrifugal high pressure pump is provided to feed treated water at a feed flow of 6 m3/hr at discharge pressure of 14 Kg/cm2 RO Modules : R.O. System removes total dissolved solids from treated feed water by the principle of Reverse Osmosis Process" at a rate of 98-99% reiectionof solids. Thereby producing product / permeate water with a LOW total dissolved solids. Ozonation Unit with Ozonator : Ozone is a colorless gas with characteristics pungent odour detectable at a low level of 0.05 ppm. It is a very strong oxidant and is over 3000 times more powerful dis-infective than -Chlorine. It disinfects, deodorizes, decolorizes and oxidizes. The oxidation takes place in this unit which generates nascent oxygen atom. This atom oxides the cellular structure of the micro-organisms, instantly destroying them. It also oxides the chemicals which are oxidizable into harmless components by breaking down their molecules. UV UNIT UV systems are especially designed to meet the disinfection requirements of water for pharma company and all pretreatment lines requiring microbial controls. U V system is used to provide bacterial disinfection in water. It does not change the physical or chemical characteristics of water & does not have any residual properties left in the treated water.
